As soon as my friends latched on to this theory they saw incredible returns for their effort. Look guys, this is essential, but returns huge if implemented.

The basic idea is not to come across as a unprofessional telemarketer here, try to help them out. Ask these questions and let them talk, you will be surprised how willing they are to give you the EXACT words you will use to close them! Be confidant in the conversation, be the one asking the questions, be quick to disqualify a prospect if they are not who you are looking for.

Listening is a demanding ability to master, but once you master it you will close more associates. Your prospects do not care how much you have made, how long you have been in, Prospects only care about one thing. I'll give you a guess?

Prospects only care about themselves.

So the concept is... probe with these questions, let them inform, probe to let them talk more, reinforce their dreams back to them and you will close 6 out of 10.


1. What has you looking around for an additional source of income?
2. What do you do for a living? Really? How long?
3. What do you like about your chosen profession? (keep them talking for a bit, ask them to tell you more) (This exposes their strengths)
4. What do you not like about it? Why is that?
5. Are you looking to replace or supplement your income?
6. Have you ever worked from home before?
7. What level of income are you used to? (you do not want to shoot too low or too high with your success stories from your company)
8. How much are you looking to make in the next 12 months?
9. Have you set aside any capital to start your business? (this is a qualifing question)
10. I am looking for a few determined people to work with directly to help build their business together, how determined are you?
11. Help me understand why? (dont interupt, let them talk)
12. Do you have something to write with? (send them to your website) Then set up a follow up the same day if possible, urgency is the crucial component here. Call them back, rebuild rapport, and ask the final few questions.

13. What did you like about what you saw/heard? Why is that? (this is the info you will repeat back to them in a minute)
14. Do you want to make a little or a lot? Tell me why?
15. If you continue doing what you are doing, how long before you can ...? (simply repeat their needs, strengths and goals back to them)
16. Great, where do you see yourself getting started? At the bottom working slowly towards (insert goals again here) or do you want to take the quickest way to reaching those goals?

Seriously, after Matt allowed the prospects to sell themselves, he closed triple the amount of prospects into his business. He has been a sponsoring maniac since and truly is realizing his dreams.

Practice these questions, get good at listening, stop trying to push and start trying to make a friend and your paycheck will be rewarded for it.
